Ok here's the problem. A little over a week ago my car was running perfect, nothing was wrong at all. Well i park it because i ran out of gas and didn't bother to drive it for a week. a couple of days ago i go to start my car, and it wont start. I've checked almost everything, and still nothing. Its trying to turn over but it seems as if its not getting any gas when i have half a tank, can anyone give me some ideas, thanx.

 

Can you hear the pump prime when you first turn on the ignition key and the CEL is still on?

 

well its not hard to check for spark or fuel but if you have both of those. is the car turning over abnormally slow cause then i would check if your alternator or ac compressor locked up while it was sitting - look if all the pulleys are spinning while cranking
