Default b16a2 block with gsr head

im trying to buy new pistons for my b16a2 block
high compression between 11-to12.5
should i use the si timing belt or gsr belt.
and how high on octane gas can i go
you think 92 will be ok or something higher

the b16 has a shorter deck height than the gsr so u will need the b16 timing belt.

if im not mistaken it depents on what waterpump your running... w/a b16 water pump youll prob need a b16 timing belt... but thats just me!!! anyone else?

oh and get some 310 injectors and get it tuned and youll be fine on 92 pump gas

uh...

why put the GSR head on?

you will use the b16 belt oil pump doesnt matter, that's only with LS/VTEC

12.XX compression you will need to have **** hot tuning and good 91-93 octane gas, depending on where you live.

Think about this before you go buying pistons, you need to get them installed, you will need cams, cam gears, engine management, injectors, and of course exhaust and intake to take full advantage of such high compression

go mild w/ usdm itr pistions and settle w/ some ctr cams and perhaps a type R valve train w/ some injectors! youll be happy w/ the power gain and i will be depenable
