im thinking about buying a hatch with a jdm b16 swap all is stock except he has a b and m fuel pressure regulator i test drove and from 1st gear and on goes fast accelerating and stuff but when im going about 30 in 3rd and floor it it kind of like bogs then starts going same if im going 40-45 in 4th and floor kinda like a bog then move is this normal ? am i just going to slow for the gear since 1.6l have crappy torque at low rpms? am i just used to 1.8ls motor? help me out plz thanks in advance Brady.

Maby because its a b16, you were also at pretty low speeds for the gears. Maby it needs some a tune up?

 

did you adjust the fuel pressure??? cause if you did that could be a reason for the bogging...but yes your car is gutless with a 1.6 as well
