Default Headlights, have low beam no High beam

Ok I recently purchased a 95 cx hatch and i was in my garage testing everything and i turned my headlights on and both low beams work but them i clicked the high beams on and only one worked the drivers side. Ok then i got a new or he said it was new light bulb from one of my friends and i plugged it in on the passengers side and i had low beams still but again no high beams. Could this be becasue i need a new from store bulb or is there a wieing problem or anything???

sounds like a wiring problem. Switch bulbs from one side to the other, and see what happens.

If that proves that the wiring is bad, one cheap easy way around it (after checking the fuses) is to simply wire the two highbeams together.
