Default Stripped 02 sensor......any crazy help ideas?

I tried to use a 22mm on the sensor and the wrench kept slipping off.....then i tried vice grips...i hate using ghetto vice grips but it was all I had so i tried them....no luck....sprayed penatrating spray on the sensor.....then my friend had an 02 sensor tool ....(funny how after all that he tells me about it) and the tool will not turn the sensor, it's too stripped......so go ahead flame me or whatever.....I'm just trying to get lucky and see if anyone out there has any ideas or tricks........hit me!!

well if it is in the cat what i would do is take the cat off then try again with the vise grips but first apply heat (this will loosen it up) if that did not work i would either break the 02 sensor off and use the craftsman easy off sockets and do it that way or try to hammer a regular socket on it. Heat, vise, and some good vise grips will do it tho

i hate when that happens...i sprayed some WD-40 on mine for at least a week before i attempted to take it off it was soo rusted...but heat is a really good idea and well since its stripped vise grips will have to do the job so i have to agree with what he said

what i thought....but on a 92 civic, the stock 02 sensor mount is on the top part of the manifold.....,not too hard to get to, but still when it's stripped---a pain in the ***.....
