I recently picked up a 94 civic ex coupe and i was wondering what exhausts sound nice on the 1.6 SOHC VTEC...I'll eventually be swapping in a b18c1, but I have decided to wait until after college to make a large investment like that. So for now im just gunna get a few small things...catback, wheels...etc. I have my eye on the HKS Hi power exhaust and the apexi N1...im lookin for an exhaust that will have a nice smooth sound. I can't stand that raspy sound that I had on my last civic. Anyone have any ideas for exhausts?

 

get a Apexi World Sport there not to costly and have a nice quite sound to them

 

ws2 is stock sound, i just installed mine. Great sound, yet very quiet. Choose your catback wisely, and do your research. The various mufflers present lots of diffrent sound and sound lvls...

yea i made the mistake of buyin a no name brand n1 full stainless steel catback for my old coupe...didnt sound to bad at low rpms but when it got up to like 5000+ it just sounded like ***. is there a reason why the top brands dont make full stainless steel piping? does that affect sound levels or something? I just want somethin smooth i dont mind if its a little loud. i love the way the apexi sounded on my buddys integra LS...really smooth sound

 

I've decided not to get the HKS or Apexi...im lookin into the RS-R ExMag catback. Does any1 have this or heard good things about it?
