89 crx dx obd1 converstion

Default 89 crx dx obd1 converstion

If i get a obd1 engine harness,dash harness,and rear harness from a eg hatch could i convert the whole crx to obd1?

Need to convert to mpfi first if you haven't already. Unless you get the edm obd1 d15b2 stuff,

well if i got the obd1 dash harness then i would just run that engine harness too.

I asked drdisco69 if a obd1 engine harness would work a while back and he said no, dash plugs are different. OBD1 dizzies will not do DPFI also, neither will the ecus.

Thats the hard way, just use theplugs for a dpfi to mpfi

No,it doesn't work like that..You would to swap in the entire Car harness..I mean everything..The easiest thing to do is use the stock dx harness and convert to mpfi..You only have to add a couple of wires and switch some around..Check out fourthgenhatch.com for a mpfi write-up..

im not worried about whats easiest.Why would i have to change out the whole wiring when the only difference in the si and dx is the dash harness and engine harness?
