Default ENGINE OPTIONS?

JUST PICKED UP A 90 CRX HF I THINK - GOT A 1.5 NON-VTEC - TIRED OF SWAPPING SO I THINK I MIGHT TRY SOMETHING DIFFERANT FOR ONCE - WHAT ARE SOME THINGS I CAN DO WITH THIS MOTOR? OR SWAP IN A D16? OR BOOST OPTIONS? THANKS A LOT YAL!

simplest/cheapest swap would be zc or si motor.

just get a Type AAAAAARRRRRR

get a single cam (a6) pretty strong lil drop in motors

ps: never use caps lock in honda-tech

thanks a lot guys - is there a lot a wiring or ecu issues i need to work with if i swap a si or any single cam w/ vtec?

u have to get the ecu,harness, obd1 conversion.vtec tranny sensor of an eg with vtec.thats all i know.i have a 90 hb

better yet - what would be a good autocross motor setup - i would like to keep it fairly simple and cheap since this is a side project...thanks

You could go with a D16ZC DOHC. They will pop right in, no wiring or changes needed. They give about the same HP/TQ as a D16Z6 SOHC Vtec.

But you wont have m@d VTAAAK, so you wont impress the chicks.... LOL

Keep the HF motor. If you boost it you can get at least 200 RWHP out of it.

bump for not working on monday but anyways how hard would it be to swap a si d16 setup - motor/tranny/ecu? or is there more?
