i recently bought a 88 HF CRX BODY , the recent motor had thrown a rod so i just swaped it out and dropped in a 89 crx si engine. I am using the si engine harness the car doesnt get spark , it just laughs refusing to fully turn over ... car gets fuel but no spark !!! makes me really furious i need some crx pros to help me on this one !!!!!

maybe if you make 3 or even 6 threads more people will help?

 

Check all the grounding.

 

all the grounds are connect everything is in working order , distributor is good , why wont the car turn over ??? is it because the under dash harness for the hf is different then the si harness????

 

check everything to do with the dizzy.. check the coil ...its old and those are prone to go out...gl luck

Use the hf harness, what is the si harness doing in there!
