-3an or -4an oil feed line?
i ordered a -4an oil feed line for my car but after doing more reading i think i messed up.
from alot of stuff i have read people have had problems with the -4an lines feeding too much oil to the turbo and then blowing the seals, and i've heard that people using a restrictor have had problems with it not feeding enough oil to the turbo and then it burns up.
so did i mess up by ordering the -4 oil line? and if so would you recommend getting a restrictor? if so what size? or would you suggest just getting the -3 oil feed line?
thanks in advance for the help

I have never heard of a restrictor causing a turbo to go unless it was a ball bearing, or in the odd case that the line became completely clogged.
Oil film bearings only need a little bit of oil. Constrict the feed with a 1mm restrictor, and use water cooling if your turbo has it.

first of all alot of people on here dont know how to set up their return line, i ran a 4 an line with my sc61 turbo for 50k miles without any problems, and ur not gonna get more pressure anyways with a bigger line as long as the return is a 10 an and its a straight shot to the pan ur never gonna have problems.
