Default will stock pistons work?

hi guys. as i said before i am dropping a turbo b18c1 into my delsol. i just pulled the engine out of my integra GSR and have been getting ready to start the full rebuild and turbo upgrade. what kinda psi can the factory parts handle? i am asking because i don't wanna shell out a junk load of coin on better pistons if its not gonna make a large improvment. this car is gonna be mostly a show commuter. but i like to make mouths drop when they go along for the ride. so if i can get away just buying a factory rebuild kit for the engine i would like to go there and shell my money into the body kit and paint. i am looking at a t3/t4 turbo and intercooler kit. they make "claims" it is good for 200-500 hp. i don't know how accurate those"claims" are but i would be happy with the 200. lol in addition to the 181 its doing stock . let me know if any of you guys have done this or has any recomendations for me. thanks everyone.

if you only want around 250 just leave the internals stock and get a good tune and youll be fine. If you want closer to 300-350 you may want to look into upgraded internals. The stock ones will hold it but then your getting a little bit risky. Also just becuase it say up to 500 horsepower doesnt mean it bolts on and boom, 500 horsepower. It is an estimated number that is universal and depends on many factors

I think you need to spend a lot of time in the FI forum, if you are honestly planning an running 400 whp and needed to know if you should upgrade you internals you have a lot to learn. You also may want to look into the turbo a little more and make sure that it will be suitable for this setup.

i have looked into the turbo . alot. i just have never attempted this kind of upgrade ( as far as a huge HP climb) i really dont know alot about the V-TEC parts, what they are made of, what forging or overall limitations. thats why i was asking. i have no time restraints on this project, so i want to do it right. but alot of people will tell you to buy the top end dtuff needed for pro track . i dont need that stuff. i only want to buy what i need. after its done and in the car i never want to have to add anythikng later. i know the power band i want to be in and all i want is the best way to get there... not the best way to try winning the nationals. but i am learning alot as i go from fine members here such as yourself that keep directing me in the right direction. thanks agian

Well it sounds like you have the best thing of all on your side, TIME. Time should be the key word in any build, take your time, plan, and all will just fall into place without a major problem.

Im afraid such thing does not exsist in the import world yet, unlike for a SB or something. Its pretty much just piece it together as you go with whatever parts you like.
