Is my head gasket going bad????
sup guys i got a turbo ls motor.......my radiator has holes and i have no fan.....stupid i know but both things have been ordered........anyways......the car doesnt overheat for a longgggggggg time when i drive normal but when i boost i get maybe one good pull before it does and then i have to put like a quarter gallon of coolant in every time.......coolant sprays out of the radiator cap....which also may be bad.......but like 3 times coolant went from the radiator into the overflow when it was empty and filled it up......is that a sign of head gasket about to go?
Is the overflow bubbling? If it is it sounds like you HG is going due to head lift. I would fix the rd first and then see if it still does it. If so its time to order some ARP and cometic

lol dont drive the car head gasket gonna go if the cars overheats (dont let it touch red) if it already was in red for a while or even a little bit then the head gasket gone or could go.
whatever you do jus dont drive the car until you have a FAN and a radiator without holes and a cap that doesn't spray coolant (when the cap is closed? hmm lol) but dont drive the car fix everything and if it still overheats then you blew the headgasket. good luck mayn

My car is currently in the shop due to a possible bad head gasket. It was doing the exact same thing as your car. We found out that the hole where the coolant enters was partially cracked and I also didn't have the correct radiator cap. I think you need one that holds over 1.3 psi. I'll let you know if the new radiator did the job or not. Otherwise I still have to do a leakdown test.
