Yes, it is worth it to get both. You will get better gains out of both as opposed to one.

Where can you get both CTR cams? I have only been able to find the intake cam on HMotorsonline.com. Can someone give me a little guidence? I am wanting to do the same thing. Thanks.
Anyone know any where cheaper to get the cams from. Inlinefour.com has them for $350 a pop. HMotorsonline.com has the intake cam for $239 shipped. Now where can I get the exaust cam for around the same price?
im pretty certain that most vtec cars have the SAME exhaust cam...look up the specs before you **** bricks trying to buy both....i know for a type r and gsr there is NO difference between the exhaust cams ....same with the b16

Yes, there is a difference between the exhaust cams.
The GSR exhaust cam has 227 degrees of duration and 9.4 mm of lift.
The ITR exhaust cam has 235 degrees of duration and 10.5 mm of lift

The 00-01 ITR and CTR cams are exactly the same.
Get both the intake and exhaust, and get something to tune with becuase that will be needed (piggyback or standalone) along with some cam gears.
I would strongly suggest to upgrading to atleast the ITR valvesprings. Better safe than sorry IMO.

there is no need to upgrade the springs with the cam install if youre keeping the stock redline..tons of gsr's running around with ctr intake cam and stock redline (stock valve train)

I'm currently using the ctr intake cam and the stock gsr exhaust cam, stock gsr valve train, skunk2 IM, i/h/e and a chipped p28 w/ my all motor tune. Click on my vouch thread in my sig to see my dyno graph with the set up listed above.
I've been running this same exact set up for the past 3 years...no problems what so ever. Just dont plan on revving past 8200 if that!

I heard somewhere that the gsr intake springs are the same as the itr exhaust springs. Can you do that and get away with gsr valves and retainers and keep the dual butterflies?
Ideally to get all the gains you can you would get both cams, valve train to rev higher since the cams make power past stock gsr redline, single stage IM, and some sort of tuning.
I had the cams in for a while with stock redline and decided if I was going yo upgrade the valve train I might as well upgrade the cams. So my car is in the shop for a while =P. With BC4's I would think you should upgrade the valve train, w/the BC3+'s some of the itr guys are running stock valve train w/o a problem.
