Clear out SRS cel code and get new steering wheel
does anyone know how i can clear out the SRS code and keep it from comming back? my bags are now deployed and i will be getting a air bag tray and a new wheel and quick release. so how can i clear this code?
also, what will i need to remove my stock wheel and put in an aftermarket one, just a quick release and a wheel or what?

You can't reset the srs light unless you hook everything back meaning, the air bag and a new brain. If you choose to go with aftermarket, do what others are telling you, disconnect the plug in the back of your cluster. Otherwise the light will always come back.
i dont want the code to keep being thrown so i would like to know, from those of you who have done this w/o just taking out the bulb. if all it takes is to remove the fuse, then i shall do that

^^ i second that.. i tried resetting my srs light following the team-integra article because i also have an aftermarket wheel but the srs light still stays on. just pull the srs plug from behind the cluster.
read that article again guys. It says it turns it off.
If you followed that article and it didn't work, try it again. it sais in the article it may take a few trys.

I'll note that this took me personally three times to get it right, it probably would have made it easier to have a friend sitting in the passenger seat working the ingition key, but rest assured that the above procedure does work :-)</TD></TR></TABLE>
