Default main relay clicking...no start

hi i own a 93 prelude si and the car out of the blue decided not to start. the check engine light comes on and the main relay clicks on and off very fast. i replaced the relay with no such luck. the car turns over but wont start...i believe its not getting any fuel because i can't hear the fuel pump coming on but it is getting power when i jump the relay. are there fuses for the pump and if so where are they located? Any ideas would be very helpful thanks.

The only fuses are under the hood on passanger's side and under the dash on the driver's side.

So the pump will only kick on when you jump the relay? Which pins are you jumping? The solid yellow wire on the relay is the one that goes to the pump, if you have a multi-meter/dvom you can check that wire for continuity from the relay to the pump, and also make sure the ground for the fuel pump is good.

i checked for continuity and everythign was good i jumped they yellow wire to the black with yellow i also unplugged the pump and checked the power going to it and it was fine which has me puzzled and it is grounded properly. it almost seems like the problem is beofre the main relay becuase when i turn the key the main relay goes crazy clicking on and off. if anyone has anymore ideas that would be great

Those ludes can be mothers in the strange problem area. The first thing I would think of is the ignition switch. Is anything else acting goofy too?

I can email you the wiring diagram if you want, you must have a wiring problem before the relay. I hate gremlins like this!
