Default SRP question on a boosted D

I'm in the process on building the botton end of my d16y8 for boost, Im using SRP pistons and Eagle rods. I have a couple of clearance questions. Has anyone used these pistons on a D series and what did you set the ring gap at? I calculated what my ring gap should be and it said about .0014. Does this sound right? The standard (new) limit was between .0004- .0012 in my honda manual, But the service limit wasnt until .0024. So I guess .0015 wouldnt be bad? Some help would be nice. We checked the cylinders with an old ring at different areas up and down the sleeves and they were all basically in the .0012-.0013 range. And im honing the sleeves about .001 to smooth a couple of really small knicks.
