whats up guys i just bought a momo srs type r steering wheel, everything is perfect on the wheel exact the back which is cracked just alittle bit from the old airbag going off

i was wondering if i could use my backing off the usdm to wheel to replace it??? any info would be helpful.

umm, are you sure that the airbag was replaced properly? i wouldn't trust that thing.

 

the seller said the airbag went off but was replaced with a brand new one, the cracking was due from the airbag going off.

 

i wouldnt use it

yea. take out 200 dollas and buy a new itr wheel or be a baller and get mugen wheel with momo hub

 

personally i would use it. nothing wrong with a wheel that had a bag go off.

it happens everyday and we replace them.

now, it its some jigger rig, then yeah, dont use it. but if its just the back (which could melt in any car because of the airbag going off) the id say keep it.

depending on how good of a deal you are getting. now, if the wires are all electrical taped together then yeah, stay away. but if installed properly (which is hard to mess up) then you are good to go
