car wont pass 3k
hi i have a dohc zc, i have trouble when i start my car , it would just shut off. i recently changed my distributor cap and rotor, but still when i drive i wont pass 3k , do you think it may be the alternator ?

if you sensors are hooked up backwards (two of the clips fit in the same way) then this might be the problem (happened to me once... or twice)
