Are you looking to match the manual tranny ECU# 37820-P2J-003 by converting
a 37820-P2J-J62 ECU that is for the automatic?
Is the diff between the manual and automatic just an RPM setting or does
the automatic have a sending/recieving connection to the automatic ECU?
I just got the JDM D15B 3 stage VTEC motor and can not locate the ECU# 37820-P2J-003 for manual tranny. This engine is going in a 91 CRX Si (5sp).
Let me know what YOU find out? Or if you find a source for the manual tranny
ECU# 37820-P2J-003.
Thanks
Craig

I'm still looking for that 3 stage manual VTEC ECU 37820-P2J-003......
I've been to Saigon 3 times last year and have friends checking for this
ECU in Vietnam. The ECU is from a 1996+ EK-series JDM Civic/Civic Ferio VTi/Vi Honda Model.
Was also looking into this conversion, taking the Auto ECU and converting
to the manual.
I also have an Ebay Vender in Singapore watching out for the manual ECU but
here is what he says about converting the Auto to Manual......
'Its not easy to convert this ecu to manual due to the different idle air control system. (2-wire for manual vs 3-wire for auto)'
Assuming this is correct and states the difference between Auto and Manual as
'different idle air control system. (2-wire for manual vs 3-wire for auto)'
I will NOT be messing with the Auto ECU to convert to Manual.

Small world
I'm in Buena Park down the street from you
I got a P2J ECU
let me know how bad you want it
the more gas Prices go up, the firmer the grip on this ECU
