Rota Slipstream (15')for everyday driving
I'm thinking to get a set of Slipstream for daily driving and use my stock wheels for autoX (with R compound tire)
Anyone bought them and use it for daily driving? I want to know are the Rota easy to bend/ crack?? ( for 15' )
Thanks

I was planning on doing the exact opposite, because the slipstreams are lighter. Stockers for long drives and slipstreams for fun.
Oh.... well..... I was just considering getting into autocrossing in the next month or two, I don't know all of the details yet.
Are the stock wheels 6 or 6.5 wide?

No problems here. I love them. Get planty of looks, have taken plenty of harsh road conditions. Even took a 6" tree limb in the middle of highway 1 at midnight. There was no way around it, it took up both lanes of the North bound traffic...

If you're just starting to get into autox, start with a stock car with street tires.

My car is basically stock, I just want it to be a little faster. My stock tires died and were replaced with high-milage Potenza 910's. I figure that a good way to make it faster would be with some light-weight wheels and sticky tires.

No. See SCCA stock class rules @ http://www.scca.org. It would be most beneficial to start off in as close to stock form as possible. Wheels sized other than 15x6 would move you into STX or CSP where you'll get your *** handed to you. Sticky tires hide errors, so you won't be able to see your faults as much. It's up to you, if you really want to learn how to drive better.
Will 205 azenis fit on stock rims?

He did a 180 this weekend and bounced off a curb with the rotas, they are still true as hell and not bent at all.

I realize that it will change my class, that's not what I'm talking about. For right now, I just want to have fun, even if I get my *** handed to me. I don't care what other people get, I care what I get. Even if I do get stickier tires, I can leave the stockers on the first few times or even all the time at the track, but everyday, even on the street it will make me faster. I appreciate the help, because I want to learn about this.

I also didn't mean to say that you should only go out to compete. Autox is for fun, first and foremost. It's just that if you start with a stock car, you might learn that you like the stock setup better than a modified setup.
