swapping 93 h22 oil pan with a 00...
I did search and found a couple of diagrams and people saying it SHOULD work, but I was just wondering if anyone actually knows from experience!!! I am going from the 00 oil pan on and swapping it out for the 93. It is a euro R 00 block, and the 93 pan is from a JDM h22.
thanks
thanks
I have a 2000 USDM engine. I scraped the dammned aluminum pan and it leaked out like a motha.(damn synthetic oil is like water you know) anywho I put on a pan from a JDM 95 block fit like a charm
MINE DOESN'T FIT!! It is banged up from shipping or some japanese ******* driving it (it is bent up) so i am trying to bang it back down and i am making some progress, but it is hitting the oil pickup. So how much clearence do i need between the oil pickup and the pan??

it isn't banged up that bad, The Euro R one is like an inch deeper then the JDM one, so I am trying to bang it out farther...
the reason for all of this is becuase I am putting a JDM exhaust on the Euro R (because that is all i have). The downpipe hits the Euro R pan, but not the JDM pan, so i am swapping pans, and encountered this problem. So If anything I would have to buy the Euro R header and Downpipe!

The 93 pan uses a gasket. You have to use a gasket cuz the pan is not flat surfaced around the edge like your Euro pan is. Those dimples around the edge of your 93 pan is why it doesnt seal up.
