The 1990-1991 Civic EX did not have rear dis brakes in the US. The fronts will bolt right up and yes you can use the rotors.

thank you sir, now what would work to match the front as a 10.3 brake upswap? would the 92-95 si or ex rear brakes work and will they be ok as to not upset the balance of the car. or what would be ok to pair w/ the 90-91 ex brakes for the rear.

90-93 Integra or 90-91 CRX Si rear discs. Im sure 92-00 Civic and 94+ Integra discs are the same too. I think theyre 9.2" in diameter. Just make sure you use a 40/40 proportioning valve from a 90-93 non-abs Integra.

And the proper e-brake cables (DA cables for hatch/sedan, 90-91 CRX Si cables for CRX).

thank you for your response, i neglected to mention that my crx 90-91 si and has four disc brakes. i'm looking to upgrade to 10.3 to all four corners. i understand fastbrakes puts together a fantastic package, but i'm looking for other options. i know there is much debate on whether da brakes upset the cars balance thats why i'm leaning w/ the ex brakes and something to match in the rear.

Leave the rears as they are, upgrade the fronts to the EX brakes. Get a 90-91 Integra NON-ABS MC/BB, steel braided lines, and some good pads and you'll certainly feel the difference.

thanks again, aiming to get earl's brake lines, mc/bb, ex civic front brakes w/rotors, and new pads. should keep the horses in check. my guesstimated price is 3-400 total. not bad for a huge improvement.
