Hey, I have a 98 HX, and I have a broken upper motor mount on the drivers side. I can get a used one just like the one I have from the junk yard for cheap, but I was wondering if I could get one that was a little stronger. The one that is on there now is like one of the flat mounts and it looks really weak. Would one of the upper mounts off of a B series engine work?? Anyway, thanks for any help…

to the best of my kowledge a b series mount will not work. as far as a stronger mount i herd that energy suspention makes a kit that has bushings that reinforce all of your stock mounts. i hope this was a help

Well, i have looked at some of the kits that you are talking about, but they don't seem to do anything for this mount...



There is no way to put an insert in this mount.

Prothane and Energy Suspension DOES make an insert for that mount but the Place racing mount is much better and you can get it at http://www.jdmhondaparts.com .....

 

I have an extro one of those mounts lyin around my house....make me an offer
