1992 Integra ls or 1991 civic
im debating between these two cars the integra is stock and the civic has a ZC engine with intake, coil overs and others. What do you guys think i should get?
integra $1800 And civic 2000
integra $1800 And civic 2000
i had an 89 civic si and i now have a 90 integra ls
the ZC is it single or dual cam? that car was very, very fun.
who did the swap? what kind of coilovers..what else does it have?
mileage on both?
condition of body? pictures would be great.

they are both in good condition they both have about 150XXX miles. And i dont know what kind of coil overs it has and its a single head Vtec
if you buy the teg are u gonna put mods on it? if so, you end up paying more the you would for the civic and its still slower than the civic, I would go for the teg though but thats just me.

going ls/vtec is good..but you should make sure the motor is in tiptop shape (compression test, leakdown test come to mind) before you build it.

well a 92 integra is already OBD1 so you could get a b16 head for approx 300 bucks..you need a couple other things..ECU, golden eagle conversion kit, line to oil pan (which you must tap)
you can do it all for about 500 bucks...roughly.
but make sure you check the motors condition before you buy it. also remember to run a carfax

if your broke and will allways be broke, buy the civic. if your a little broke buy the 91 teg. If your middle class buy a 92 civic. If your between broke and middle class, buy a 93 teg.
I allways look at bang for the buck with form. 89 civics blah! 91 teg eh. 92 civic meh. 93 teg hey! 94 teg wowza!

um hold on here. the civic has the vtec engine? then its not a zc because zc's were dohc engines 129hp and sohc engine with 120hp. the civic might have a z6 vtec engine.
id say get the teg, you have a better platform to work off of from the start.

I'd say go for the teg all the way, they ride nicer, and I like the way they handle better at higher speeds. I had a CRX and my teg just feels more stable and predictable at speed, I'm assuming because of the longer wheel base.
