What is the most HP you've seen with a stock fuel system???
I'm curious to know what's the most hp people have seen with the stock fuel system. Do you think 700hp is possible?
I'm running the fuel line kit from Stan @ fast turbo, and RC 1200cc injectors, walbro 255 lph (Hp), an Aeromotive FRP.
Will I have to go with an external fuel system??? The highest #'s I've seen are around 650hp.
Thanks,
Franky

I know I'd rather put a few bones into my fuel system for piece of mind rather than put a few bills into a replacement motor.
I'd suggest if nothing else go to some hydralic place and have them bend up some extra-large lines for your fuel. Fixing some of the other weak points would definately prevent fuel starvation when pushing the mostly-stock system to its limits.

when i first read that, i thought you meant 100% stock as in stock pump and injectors etc. i started laughing when i read 700hp

I would like to know also. Hes curious about stock fuel system guys, not suggestions on what to upgrade to. Keep in mind
around 610 consistent on some of our cars but the car still liked to lean out top of 4th going thru the traps

I always heard if you go turbo you HAVE to get a new fuel pump. I have a JRSC and im using the oem fuel pump for around 220 hp with 450 inj.

Call up Larry at Endyn...They sell the Bosche fuel pump which I believe Stan said is good to somewhere in the 700-800hp range. The Bosche pump is much larger then the Walbro, but Endyn can cut it and modify with out effecting flow and it will fit inside your tank just like your Walbro fuel pump. Good luck

ive herd of using a dual pump system without using a sump... i have stock lines with a 255hp aswell and a aeromotive fpr... made 606 whp with a 11.4 afr @ 9200 rpm 4th gear....my boy jose uses a single bosch high flow and another lower flowing pump as well.... not sure how its set up though.... he has 700+whp....
we've made 600+ with walbro hp's in the past... they do like to lean out up top though... i dont personally like doing it main reason being being the size of the stock fuel lines... i have not done much research into it though... i believe the stock tube is 3/16". you can trust it if you want... i dont

How much gas did you have in the tank? Was this on the HP version Walbro? I'm not having that problem and I was pushing 650whp. What's the base fuel pressure? Were you monitoring fuel pressure at high boost? At 650whp my fuel pressure was dropping 15psi. I had enough fuel to make no more power than what I was, though. Duty cycle at a hair over 90% and base fuel pressure at 55psi.

the bosch pump that stan sells is 400 bucks, to me its worth getting it, since i dont have to run a sump on the tank and i still have plenty of fuel.

quite a bit of difference in size, for next year i'm going to be running -8 feed and the stock feed line as my return line.

as my partner said we do not recommend doing so but it is possible to make power on a 255 intank pump, the most recent case would be a member on this board that has a 255 intank and 1000cc injectors, with a base pressure of 50. the car produced 683 around 28lbs. all fuel lines remain stock, yes even the one from the stock filter to the fuel rail. thse numbers were done on a dyno dynamics dyno also, ( the heartbreaker). when the car returns to the shop we will be redoing the fuel system just as a safety measurement.
i dont think this is the highest amount of power ever produced on a system like this, but as far as the hondas i have tuned and built this one is the highest for a "stock style system", with no upgraded fuel lines.

I thought he meant stock stock fuel system hahaha but I wanna knoe to what's the most hp on stock I mean stock fuel system stock pump injector etc
well I am assumming the cars were making around 610 brians car and mine both would routinely trap over 152 mph, while our cars were a little lighter mine was around 2150 to 2175 brians was around 2300. our fuel pressure did not drop at all , but there is a huge difference between a dyno 4th gear pull and a full 1/4 mile pass. If weather was in the 70's all was good in the world , if the temp would drop below 65 I would see a huge difference in the walbro's ability to maintain a 11.8 to 12.0 air fuel in the top of 4th gear.I dataloged every pass the crx or coupe made including brians crx. I allways ran the car with atleast half a tank of gas. I mean dont get me wrong if I did not have a wide band I would never know, but like clock work 2 different cars would lean out in the top of 4th gear. You could not see it in the plugs , it would mainly happen on cooler days. I ran it like that for 4 season just changing the pump very year. Once I switched to a big bosh my ve table was literally cut in half , using -8 up and factory return. The coupe runs 2 bosh's and a -10 and that sucker doesnt cry even at 43 psi of boost
