Default How much can 6AN fuel lines support?

What is the max amount 6AN fuel lines are able to spport. I am doing a cell right now, and my cell has 8an sump fittings, pump has 10an, but my fpr is only 6an. Should I go to a 10an fpr? I pushed 374whp on 13psi back on the stock fuel system iincluding stock pump, everything, except for a sx fpr with 6an inlets and outlets. Thanks for your help

-8 feed line and -6 return can support 1000 hp

Why do you want to put a fuel cell in your car? Can you not put a bigger fuel pump in the stock fuel system?

I think it is pretty safe to say that the -6 lines will support anything you can throw at them. There are a few cars on here making over 600whp on stock lines.

Basic guidelines are...

-6AN to 500 hp
-8AN to 800 hp
-10AN to 1100hp

We use -10 AN in our race boats which have 1350 crank hp and they do fine so im sure the limits can be pushed a little further.

I would say that is a little bit off. I personally run -10 to the pump,-6 to the rail and back to the tank and am currenly making 648whp. What kind of engines are in the boats you speak of? Maybe the fuel consumption is a of a significantly larger volume than the 4 cylinders I am used too.

Im assuming your using gas and not meth or anything like that.

I run -6 for feed and return from the stock tank throughout the whole fuel system. I can not say what they are good for, but so far i made a touch over 400whp on pump with this and a walbro255. Right now Im having a fuel system issue, but I seem to think its the voltage at the pump or a clogged sock......I dont have the time to diagnose it right now.
Anyways, as stated above 600+ whp has been made on stock lines and a walbro intank.
