how do you tell how fast you are going with a jdm gauge
I was wondering for people that put jdm gauges on their car, how do you know how fast you are going in mile per hour? do you do the math in your head?
just remember 100km/h is roughly 60mph and you're pretty set, just stay between 100-150km/h and you'll be between 60mph and 90mph (that is if you drive 90mph normally)
ok after a quick google, 100km/h = 62.1mph and 160km/h = 100mph
mph to km/h :: mph * 1.609 = km/h
with that formula just figure out what your average speed you go in km/h and memorize it i guess
hope that helps

i usually count every 10km/h as 6mph....so if i'm at 80km/h, i figure that's around 48 or 50 mph...by taking 80 divided by 10..and then multiplied by 6...haha you get used to it after driving around for a while
We don't do the math, we use the metric system
haha
joke apart, aren't the US supposed to move to metric sometime ? It's maybe the last country in the world to use the imperial units, even the brits made the effort to drop them (and US contractors still using imperial did cost the US one space probe, and Europe one rocket..)

Since you can't seem to do the math in your head, I have an alternative solution for you. It's simple...just print this list and make a really small sticker and put it somewhere on your dash...
33km = 20mph
42km = 25mph
50km = 30mph
58km = 35mph
67km = 40mph
75km = 45mph
83km = 50mph
92km = 55mph
100km = 60mph
108km = 65mph
117km = 70mph
125km = 75mph
133km = 80mph
33km = 20mph
42km = 25mph
50km = 30mph
58km = 35mph
67km = 40mph
75km = 45mph
83km = 50mph
92km = 55mph
100km = 60mph
108km = 65mph
117km = 70mph
125km = 75mph
133km = 80mph

i have a jdm gauge with 200 kmH that was converted into 200 mls so now i have a 200 mls gauge if you a looking for a conversion kit look at http://www.ebay.co.uk and youll find it it also deletes the speed limiter in my jdm bb4 RHD
if somebody has a EL gauge with miles and kilometers i would trade it against my 200 mls EL gauge because i need one in kilometers because im living in germany and i dont like the gauge in mls

I have one in my Civic and that's exactally what I did. But after i've driven with it for a while the conversion comes automatically.

Honestally I didn't buy it for speed measuring units I bought it because I hate gauges that light up white, and I wanted a tach.
I like that... "jdm" guage cluster. The entire world aside from the united states is metric but as soon as its not in MPH its "jdm" Just kind of makes me laugh. I have a USDM cluster in one of my ludes and the kmph is in smaller letters in the middle. My "jdm" cluster also has the MPH in smaller numbers in the middle.
