b16 intake manifold diagram? someone help pleaz!
i need a diagram that shows where all the sensors are located and maybe a wiring diagram for b16a1? need something my computer is throwing codes and my car is was diverted from dx to si then did a b16 swap and wired vtec, the harness is a mess and im trying to figured out why i have 1 extra plug and im getting 2 codes, ide control vavle and idle control temp. i think? help please
if it was converted using the DX harness, it would have one connector left which doesn't go anywhere - it was the connector for the tandem control valve - 2 wire connector with 1 orange wire and 1 black/yellow wire - you should have a 2 wire connector plugged into the intake air temp sensor on the manifold which has 1 red/yellow wire and 1 green/white wire - you should have a 2 wire connector plugged into the EACV which has 1 blue/yellow wire and 1 black/yellow wire
ok got that straitened out, but check engine light is still on and is throwing i think code 10, and i have another extra plug and the wire is yellow with a red stripe? what the hell is that? car isnt starting, it doesnt really crank either, battery is good maybe something is wrong with starter? sounds kinda weak and itll crank but then it stops?
code 10 is intake air temp - yellow with red stripe is probably the oil pressure sensor on the back of the block by the filter
no not really but for the air temp might give u issues

the people who built my motor did the wiring and it was converted from dx to si then to vtec but the car was fine until i changed the head gasket, everything with that is straight but when i unplugged everything i didnt like write down where what went, i got everything straight now and i tried to clear the codes but the air temp. sensor code is still comign up and car wont start, smells like **** like unburnt fuel or very rich, im pissed i need to get this **** started so i can feel alittle bit better cause i bought a b16 and had it rebuilt top to bottom and the dick head who torqued the head down didnt torque one side enough i the gasket kinda went bad, it wasnt bad but i just wanted to change it before it blew you know what im saying, im annal so everything has to be perfect and now the car isnt starting and im frustrated, i dunno what to do?
