FS/FT:91 eclipse gsx over $6000 in new parts, trade for hatch
In the last 3 weeks i have put $2,000+ into the car. i have all the reciepts.Im selling it because i cant afford a dsm anymore. this is my 3rd dsm, and i just want a reliable car to get from work and school. My lose is your gain. here is the list of mods, along with all the new stuff that i just put in it. Plus im including many parts not yet installed.
Interior is MINT... no rips, cracks, scratches, missing peices. nothing.
Engine:
JDM 6Bolt with 60k miles
Custom 3 inch cat back exhuast(no cat)
Custom 2 1/2 inch downpipe
Rebuilt 14b with 20k , no shaft play
2 1/4 upper intercooler piping
2g MAS
2g chrome Intake
550cc injectors
ported head
2g exhaust manifold
2g throttle body elbow
Cometic 4layer metal head gasket
walbro 255 fuel pump
Hallman MBC
balance shaft elimanator kit
ported o2 housing
NGK sparkplugs
msd sparkplug wires
dsm longer slave cylinder rod
professionally tuned by Save Leone at Import Performance in Warminster Pa.
Transmission:
Galant Vr-4 Tansmission 20k miles
ACT lightened flywheel
Suspenion:
kyb struts front and rear
golden lowering springs 2inch drop in front
new rear oem springs
Interior:
SAFC
autometer boost gauge
autometer air/fuel gauge
greddy turbo timer
Ractive Tachometer
chrome shift ****
New: About 20k miles on these parts:
Water pump, Front brakes and rotors,Slave cylinder, All gaskets replaced, DS & PS outer tierods, new OEM clutch and TOB driverside axle,coolant temp sensor, coolant sending unit
New: About 100 miles on these parts:
Oil Return Lines,Metal headgasket, Tires, Battery, Alternator, Serpentine Belt, allignment, Timing Belt, Timing Belt Tensioner, Oil Filter, Oil Pan Gasket, The whole exhaust was just welded to a one peice exhaust, to eliminate leaks, new WG Actuator, The whole motor was just torn apart, fully cleaned and reassembled by a race shop. They told me the motor had some kind of aftermarket valves, springs and lifters. So with the cams in place, the whole head should be done. The entire main wiring harness was replaced, including the charging system wiring, New Greddy TT Wiring harness(Have receipts for all this work) (Total : $2,184.47)
Parts not yet on the car:
Used Big Evo 16g (needs rebuild) 6k miles
BRAND NEW HKS 264/272 Cams (BNIB , retail at $589)
New Oil Pan Gasket
New Front Brakes
TurboXS Standerd MBC
JVC KL-2000 Headunit
I purchased the car a month ago for $4,700. Once again im selling it , not because it doesnt run right... it runs great, no smoke no nothing, but because i cant afford to keep this car. Obviously DSM's are known to break, and i just cant afford to keep fixing stuff. I put $2,100+ in to the car in the last 3 weeks. The total is at $6800+. THEN i am including the BNIB HKS cams. Which then brings the total to $7,400+.
PROBLEMS:
The car could use a paint job. Its not that bad, but the roof has some paint fade and the rear spoiler has some paint fade.
Stock speakers are in good condition, but to really enjoy music, over the exhaust, you should get a nice set of speakers.
So with a fresh paint job, this car would be in really good condition.

typerobtypes- right now, w/o the cams and evo 16g, it dynoed at 283awhp and 262 torque. I have not ran it at the track, but according to dsm friends and my personal experience with dsm's, i would say as it sits right now, 13 flat to high 12's with a good launch.
