good job why dont you just go tell bin ladin to slam a plane into the hover dam or sumthing to that nature j/k. I got a snap-on lock pick set and prity much all keys are like this but watch out if you hit the lock wrong you ma find your self replacing the locks on one of your friends cars, or loosing a friend, or a good old a ss whopping , or hell all the above .
did you think your honda was safe before you found this out? hondas are probably one of the easiest cars to steal. I was just talking about this with a friend yesterday, i never thought i would live to see the day when hondas were on the most wanted list for thieves!
don't get mad .. it's not like it's new information for thieves. I can just see someone sitting there going "Man, how am I going to steal this car ... I know, I remember some guy on honda-tech saying I could use a Toyota key. Sweet!"
At the auction i got my car from theres this guy called the "key man" this guy was one bad *** mofolk! most cars had keys missing, this dude would pull up in his van and make you a key right there on the spot using only a file and a vice grip! i still remember when he made me my key for the rex, he said this will take 5 min, time me! used the vice grip to hold the key, stuck it in the door moved it from side to side to get the indentation of the key pattern of the lock onto the key, then he just filed that sucka down, he did this for the ignition doors and trunk, hell he did the entire car in under 3 min. the key even opened up my little compartment behind the seats. It was all too impressive.

Take apart a cylinder and you'll see why it's easy to make a key that will open anything. There are only six (i think) sloted key ways that have slightly different sized or positioned openings in them. It's not too tough.
What baffels me is how I can take an original key to Meijer (giant grocery store for those who don't know), and they make a direct copy that WON'T open the lock. A filed Toyota key will work, but a Meijer copy of the original won't. Says a lot for the key copier's skills.

Thats cool. I actually heard from a friend back a while ago that when some Honda's (not sure, maybe civic's) were made, that they used the same key pattern for like every 10 cars, and there were only about 10 diff key patterns. Im not sure what car this was from, but im pretty sure it existed. Well now that u told us this, you may as well explain how/what kinda key u used to do it. Or just Pm me maybe. Ive always been interested in lock picking and ive pretty much got doors and stuff down, but cars and stuff i have not tried? Is the lock on a car like a tumbler lock, or? Thank you. :D
Lock picking is no big deal when it comes to civics. Just get a small paperclip and bend it in the shape of a sine wave.

like so ^ and stick it in and wiggle. I'll leave the ignition part for you to try on your own.
If you are seriously considering jacking a honda, you better practice being quick. Honda drivers dont take to well to dollarless ***** stealing their cars.
I know from experience. And he sued me for Assualt! All's i was doing was doing what the cops woulda done, right? He shoulda been faster on his feet also.

Yeap, people have been doing that since way back. They'd mostly use honda keys filed down to open doors and start up cars. Most of the time it takes a little bit of jiggling to get it to work, and other times it won't work at all.

thanx u ******* idiot, just look at the conversation u got going. as if my car wasn't in enough danger...
d00d chill out, its just talk. Anyways, no im not thinkin about stealin anything, i dont do that, i work hard for my sheeit. But ive alway been into lock picking etc.. i like to learn and try new stuff.. plus its always helpfull if you lock yourself out and shtuff. Thanx :D
everbody chill out!!!! This is old news to all the car theaves. they dont even need a key to get into any honda, no matter what!!! when i was a sophmore in highschool, 18 honda's got broken into. i am not joking, 18. they stole my speakers, cds, deck, and a bunch of little ****. so do you want to know how to do it. all you need is a flat head skrewdriver and pry out the window, then reach in with your hand and unlock it. it is so simple. i got jacked along with 18 other highschoolers. Word to the wise GET AN ALARM
Crxzc: Word to that man, car jacka's have known this **** forever, also with honda's you can just use slim'jims to break into them.. and yea prying the window works too.. so yea, hehe definatly get a alarm.. :D
well guess what. this key is amazing.. ive so far opened and started (with owners permission) my moms saturn SC2. my civic my friends civic.. a blazer , a mercury sable , and a handicapped wheelchair thing at my grocery store so not just imports but american cars too.. damn. this is impressive.. oh yeah .. ps to whoever said u just should get an alarm.. u know they r pointless... the normal car alarm is wired in with the cars normal battery and all u gotta do is put a positive batt( 12V+) wire on the frame of the car with the alarm and boom.. fuses are blown therefore turning off the alarm and also frying the ECU.. but some smarter people have a second batt with the alarm.. then its safer but still disarmable.. thats enough info b 4 i start to sound like a car theif or something but just dont think an alarm will stop a good theif..
mike ,
pss
they got mine once.. i know.....
