this has been happening latley...my cousin a 95 gsr and everytime he would hit the clutch and the brake at the same time, the car would start revving and shoot up to around 2000 rpms constantly

any ideas how to prevent this?

 

check the brake booster and the vacume line going to it. There is a vacume leak so when u hit the brakes air is pulled in and rpms raise
