looks like you learned a bunch, good!!
Just watch your thumbs, keep them on top of the wheel instead of inside. reason... When you go off (like you did) the wheel could catch 'em and hurt/break them.

Its hard to say because I got my car aligned the day before I went, and after they did it I looked at the printout and my settings were basically the opposite of what I had!!! I just wanted it to stop pulling, and they ended up screwing it all up. So I talked to the guy who did the alignment and he said something to the effect of '1/8'' is impossible to set, 0'' is basically the same'. So I ended up with toe out in the back and none in the front.
Plus it seemed there were only 2-3 cars under 300hp in my group. But it was decent. VIR and BeaverRun are better courses IMO, but Summit isnt bad.

Good tip about the thumbs.

Do you really find this to be a problem in production cars with relatively large steering wheels?
I only watch out for my thumbs when driving karts, due to the "quicker" movement of the smaller diameter steering wheel.

Yeah, for HPDE2, there were an astounding number of really fast high-powered cars there (my brother being one of them...). And one of the biggest differences you probably notice between those three tracks is pavement quality; that is, Summit's pavement blows ***.
As for the instructor, Kevin is a great guy
You did look pretty smooth, just have to touch up your line in a few places and get more aggressive with the go-pedal in a few spots (T9 I noticed it especially...just don't lift there...at all). Not bad for your first time though

I'm with reid on this one. I find my self doing it sometimes.
Nice Vid Jon - v-attack
You brake waaaaaaay too much in T3
a lap in my soon-to-be-H4 car - Turning 1:29's in november on old busted tires. Should be in the 28's next year
