H22 Integra

I have a H22 Integra I just bought. Theres only one problem the gears in the tranny grind when i get on it. Is it true that GM Syncromesh helps stop the grind?

yes but give it some time....it wont stop the grind the very week you put the fluid in...takes a few

When was the last time the transmission fluid was changed? It could simply be that it is due. Synchromesh is a patch for ailing synchros.

I honestly dont know. but i can find out. How long do they go till it needs to be changed?

It should be changed every two years or 30k miles, whichever comes first.

Oh really. Will the gears grind if the trans fluid is old?
