Default So Cal....Oil Change Location Question....So Cal

I want to change my own oil, but the apartment complex I live in does not allow any kind of automotive work in their parking spaces. I'm afraid my weak *** neighbors will rat me out.

Is there a place that I can go to in So Cal where I can rent a space for an hour and do the dirty work? I just need to lay out my floor jack, ramps, and tools in a space where no will f*^k with me.

Any ideas?

Drive to a kinda working class/ghetto area and do it in the street. I used to roll my jack, all my tools, oil drain pan, coolant bottles, etc right down to the street in Koreatown (Gramercy Pl and 9th St) when I lived in an apartment there. I did oil changes, tranny fluid changes, and a coolant flush on my street, never had a problem. I was very clean about it though, and I made sure to dispose of my used coolant and oil properly, so nobody could bitch at me.

Or, you can take your oil and filter and crush washer to jiffy lube and I think they will put it in for you for $5-10. I hate Jiffy Lube people touching my car, but if you have no other option and you already bought everything, you could do that.
