Canon Repairs
Has anyone here ever sent their Canon camera in for repairs? I've had my A95 for a little over a year and all of a sudden it doesn't want to turn ON anymore. I'm taking pictures with it one minute and the next minute it turns OFF. I assumed the batteries went dead so I changed them with good ones and still no go.
I'm thinking about sending it in to Canon for repairs. For those of you who have got repairs done, how much did it cost for your problem? Or were you still covered under warranty?

i sent my S500 in about a year ago. I did not have to pay for anything except for shipping to canon. as long as the damage wasn't cause by your own negligence, then they will stand behind it 100%. Canons customer support gets a
from me. i sent my camera out on a monday, and had the brand new one back the following wednesday
