Default Whats a strong head gasket for my set up?!

Yesterday i did dyno tuning with my AEM EMS, and once i hit the 350whp barrier, the head gasket started to leak and my coolant resevor box was going nuts and spitting but the gasket didnt blow.

Does anyone know of a insane strong head gasket that can take about 450whp for my 94 fully built and turboed LS?

Im trying to figure out what others have used when they broke the 450whp barrier and how it worked for them and it seems like you might not know since u havent even broken the 300's.

But lately ive been leaning towards the SCE.....has anyone had luck with that?

My friend asked his one tuner friend this question for his future build and he told him the best would be an oem gasket and ARP studs. If you're using oem head bolts that would probably be your problem right there.

OEM is fine for as much power as you want. Just make to use ARP head studs and torque them down correctly. Have your head resurfaced too.

Did you experience any detonation during the tuning session?
I know a few people making around that hp and they use nothing but OEM.

what does making over 300 whp have to do with knowing your stuff. i was just pointing out that if you have enough knowledge to build a setup that makes over 350 whp, then you should have some idea on what type/kind of head gasket you should use.
sounds like you bought it and didnt build it....

ive gone threw several motors in the past years from pushing the limits, ive known several people using Cometic and ive also heard many good things about SCE from high horsepowered DSM guys who use it.... I was just wondering if anyone has used them in a Honda?

Stock headgaskets are MLS. I'd just stick with a $40 stock headgasket if it were me. If you are blowing headgaskets, its probably not the gaskets fault. If your motor is sleeved perhaps one may have sunk.

nah i dont think i sunk a sleeve, my buddy's civic head gaskets did that cuz of a sunk sleeve, mine didnt blow, but it came close from pushing it on the dyno
