Default 95 civic 2Dr engine swap

i have a 1995 honda civic with a D16Z6 1.6 SOHC Vtech engine and i have an extra JDM B16C DOHC type R Vtech engine head. what else do i need to make the swap? is the head alone enough or do i have to make any other adjustments? by the way, i did change my ECU to a p28 chipped skunk 2 stage3. thanks in advance.

you have to swap everything. engine block, tranny, shift linkage, wiring harness, ecu, throttle cable, intake and exhaust manifolds, and motor mounts, and possibly more.

There is no b16c type-anything, so I'm assuming you mean b18c. I highly doubt you just happen to have one "laying around" if you don't even know what it is. Anyway, you can't put a b series head on a d series block. Buy a b series block and all of the other components and then you're good to go.

yes, but he said b16c, and I assumed he meant b18c. Just a typo i guess. But it still won't bolt up to a d series block.

Those are two totally different motors one is a Single cam and the b16 is a dual overhead cam you have to swap everything out, complete swap!

If you do infact have a b16c head, go ahead and attempt the conversion. You don't see that head every day, and it would definately be an NA monster!

I know that my p28 mugen stage 7 ecu works great with my b19d3 head conversion, so you should have no problems with this swap.

why are there so many trial users this week? theyre everywhere and they have no idea whats going on . its one thing to not be up on hondas, but a dohc head on an sohc motor?

i wish i could have a type r head just 'laying around'. ill give you twenty bucks for it its a hell of a deal. by the way, dont look now but gullible is written on your ceiling. also, i think you might have dropped your pocket.

p.s. it doesnt really matter how many doors your car has

Also if you take a stencil that says VTAK...and lay it on your back window and spray paint it on there...I had a friend that did that and we put it on the dyno afterwards...OMG he got a whopping 40WHP and 25Ft/Lbs of torqe from doing that..

Hmmm...looks like I know what I am gonna do today

Well maybe if people knew how to spell it or what it is, maybe you'd understand judging from this, I doubt it. Were not making fun of vtec, were making fun of the person who doesn't know what it is. I don't know what you do all day, but I go to college, thanks for asking, yall.
