taillight fuse keeps blowing
my passenger fender/right side of the bumper was hit slightly, and ever since then my passenger light fuse keeps blowing. is there anything around the passenger side fender (grounds, etc) that are related to the taillights that could be causing this?
I personally have never seen any grounding points in that area. Have you inspected the pieces that hold the lights themselves maybe the wires are touching there. After that I have no idea.

update..
i took the back panels off.. (btw i REALLY love the plastic screw/connector things they used!)
no wires getting grounded out.. no open wires.. nothing looked wrong.
still not sure. i did test it, by putting a 15 in there to see if it would even come on with that, but then the 15a +b small / +b lanternes fuse in the main box under the hood blew..
im not sure what everything goes to that fuse.. and im not sure if that helps narrow it down any at all..
any ideas? im about to call a shop and see if they can fix it, because i really need those taillights to drive at night

pulled the fender off, and the bumper.. i checked all the harnesses, wires, connections, i didnt see anything that looked messed up. i did notice, the bumper lights, the two outside lights (not the turn signals.. maybe the running lights?) those werent turning on, and the bulbs didnt look bad. i checked the fuse, and it was blown, but i replaced it, and it still wasnt turning on (but the fuse was fine after that).. im not sure if its related or not. but i did knock out most of the dent in the fender from what i got hit, so i guess that was good.....
if there is someone in san diego that can help me fix this fuse problem... ill pay you like $100 or somethin.. i REALLY need it fixed

now that i think about it.. it blew a few days after i had bought it.. but it worked fine after i replaced the fuse.

i wonder if theres any way to jerry-rig it for the time being so that the tail lights will have power (even if its on during day driving)

Since you know there is a short, Do Not put in a bigger fuse.

Also, It could be the socket for the bulbs, get the tester out and see if there is continuity. that would be bad.

not possitive that it is a short, but im guessing that it is.. over a bad ground.
