I NEED HELP PPL I NEED TO KNO HOW TO MAKE A D-SERIES ON A EG FASTER LIKE WAT KIND OF HEADERS AND CAMSHAFTS AND PULLEYS AND ETC ETC I JUST PRETTY MUCH WANNA KNOW HOW TO BUILT UP A BETTER D-SERIES MOTOR HELP PEOPLE PLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

B is for Better. you have to swap the car to b sereis motor to use the tranny

naa i heard if u do a b-series swap wit a d-series tranny ill have super short shift gears plus i wanna keep my d series and do suttin wit that

D series tranny mount won't line up with your b-series motor far as i know and like wise with b-series tranny and d series motor bro

get a 92-95 si or ex tranny. it has shorter gearing so you can spool up a lil faster. Or you can do a b-series complete swap

BASIC
1. Start with a tune up.
2. Get "whale *****" intake.
3. RMF header.
4. run 2 bottles of Techron in 1/2 tank
5. Get RM Spark Plugs
6. Get Wheel Alignment

ADVANCED
4. Get cam gear.
5. Get heatshield IM gasket
6. Get S2 IM

MORE ADVANCED
5. Mill head 0.030
6. Get cam with ~ 225/215 duration @ 0.050 with 11mm lift
7. Tune with Hondata or Crome

SUPER ADVANCED
8. Send block to AEBS to get sleeved
9. Get custom CP pistons 80mm. 12 CR.
10. Run ACL Race Bearings - set bearing clearances
11. Set ring gap
12. Degree cam shafts
13. Get head ported by RZL Engineering. Install +1mm intake valves
14. Get Jenvey 45mm Tapered ITB's.
15. Get camshaft ~ 235/225 duration @ 0.050 11.2mm lift
16. Get AEM ECU

right before i did the swap on my ek hatch, had a 90 dry shot on my bone stock dx motor. thing was a monster, took down a type s, b16 eg, 98 stang gt. she never quit. i started out with a 50 shot, then worked my way up to a 90. dont remember the jet size, was two years ago. she was a screamer

i didnt mean anything, just saying. also go dseries turbo, for less money you get amazing torque and will have lots of fun with boost. good luck

Do a whole d16z6 swap or at least a mini-me setup with a si/ex tranny..Then do a homemade turbo setup with a small turbo like a 14b,t25,etc..and run uberdata..Should make some good power
