Like the title says...
Im deciding on upgrading my stock B18C1 valvesprings and retainers but....
Would you guys say Stock valvetrain its safe for Boost on 11-15lbs @ 300-400hp???
Seems to be fine right now at 11lbs @330hp.
Inputs?

I don't see why not, I'd think increasingly high rpm would lead to valvetrain failure before the power would be an issue. FWIW, a number of locals have seen over 400whp with 100% stock heads

careful, heavy abuse in that rpm range will eventually cause the retainers to fail.

Ive seen 500whp on stock GSR valvetrain.

its not the power, its the rpm. stock retainers will fail if consistently revved past 9k.

so stock retainers can withstand reving up to 9k rpm's?...

we're splitting hairs here. all im saying is that after some long term high R abuse (9200 rev limiter) on a previous setup the ITR retainers failed and I lost everything except the manifolds and cams.
