Banging Sound From Rear Sus?
I have a loud banging sound coming from the drivers side rear sus. even when going fairly slow... say in a parking lot. Does anyone else have or had this sound? Could it be a result of shot trailing arm bushings? they look pretty weak. The sound has been there for a long time and I thought that it was just the 300,000 mile stock struts with no resistance left in them, but I just installed brand new AGX's and still have the sound
I also have the ST swaybar but it is tight and doesn't seem to be rubbing anywhere.

exhaust clearance issues?
there really isn't much back there. i'd get it in the air and pull on things/look for rub marks or other issues.

endlinks are a good point.
for the exhaust, look for rub marks. remember that an unloaded suspension may look fine, but when everything is on the ground it is another story as far as clearance goes. more of a clang.
for the links, check their angle. a quick search will let you know if they are installed correctly. depending on the application there are quite a few ways to mount them, many of which are at crappy angles. more of a pop.

might be a longshot... but could it be the subframe became unwelded from the chassis? it does happen, but usually only on heavily used race cars.
