BlueR is a great seller/buyer, you can purchase them from him with confidence. I'll go so far as to say I'll give you my race caR if he doesn't come through.

Would you happen to have the list of best dry and wet tires from this issue of C&D?

Yup. However, the web version in the link omits the detailed graphs that were included in the print article, which gave test results for each of the eleven tires in the following characteristics, in addition to the overall score that was included on the 'net:

1. Braking distance, 50-0 mph, in feet, dry
2. Braking distance, 50-0 mph, in feet, wet
3. Autocross time in seconds, dry
4. Autocross time in seconds, wet
5. Skipdad force, in g, dry
6. Skipdad force, in g, wet
7. Dry Performance Score
8. Wet Performance Score

Very reputable. I've bought many expensive and also rare items from them in the past.

I ordered a set in 195/55/15 AD07's a few months back. They're a special order item so expect to wait for them from Japan.

Is the AD07s a true street tire (or is it like the A032r)?

How much do these sell for in US for 195/55/15?

this is from icb motorsport's website. They sell them individually or as a set of 4. I've bought lots of JDM stuff from them before, and they usually have it to me within 2 days

Some of the choices for tires they tested are kind of odd, and of course the missing brands that Tire Rack doesnt appear to do business with are just missing in action. Maybe theres a different reason they havent done a tire test since 1989

It's a true street tire.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by carblegal &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">How much do these sell for in US for 195/55/15?</TD></TR></TABLE>

They don't.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by KOALA YUMMIES &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Some of the choices for tires they tested are kind of odd</TD></TR></TABLE>

I don't think so. They tested the top of the line summer street tire in every case. The only "odd" choice was for Bridgestone, which has several tires that can be considered the top of their line, and they chose the RE050A rather than the S-03.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by KOALA YUMMIES &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">of course the missing brands that Tire Rack doesnt appear to do business with are just missing in action.</TD></TR></TABLE>

Not true. For example, they included the Toyo T1-R, which is not sold by the Tire Rack. They tested all the major brands, and the only minor brand of interest that was not included was Falken (which is unfortunate).

Not for long; Szechuan food + JDM Asahi beer =

The 195/55-15 size of the AD07 is not "officially" imported to the US, but that doesn't mean you can't find it here

Oh and JDM Asahi is only sold here in those big cans, the rest is that crap brewed by Molson under "strict supervision."

Of course (as is obvious from the above posts). However, given that you can't find it from your local Yokohama Tire dealer, I don't think you can give a reliable answer to a question asking how much they sell for. It's not like you can look up the price on the Tire Rack or Discount Tire website. And prices of small importers tend to vary much more than bigger, conventional tire dealers.
