Default please help....motor cranks....doesnt fire

i searched and couldnt find anything

a couple weeks ago i swaped distributors with a buddy. when i put my distributor back on that night....car wouldnt fire. was getting air, fuel, and spark. making a screetching noise when i tried starting it. checked the timing and it was off about 8 teeth. EEKK ya!

so a few nights ago i finally got around to fixing the timing back to zero. its on point now. tried starting it and its not making the screetching noise anymore but it wont fire. it cranks but doesnt start. im still getting spark, air and fuel. fuel pump is priming a little louder than it used to as well.

im worried that maybe some damged occured to the head. any ideas? i appreciate any help. thanks!

ya...thanks for trying and sorry to be a dick but we speak ENGLISH in america. i think you meant D I S T R I B U T O R?? and no its the same one ive had on my car. i swaped them at his house so im sure its my original.

this whole thing doesnt make sense. is it just coinsidence or what? my car ran great up until i swaped the distributor. how could it have jumped 8 teeth....?? i had my water pump and timing belt replaced by a reputable shop about 3-4 weeks before this.

sequence of events:
car ran great, pulled in and parked at his house.
swaped distributors
put same distributor back on when finished.
tried starting my car.....no fire, screetching noise
checked plug sequence, loose connections, pulled injectors to see if they were squirting, etc.
tried starting 3 or 4 more times. no start, same screetch noise when cranking
looked at timing....noticed it was off 8 teeth.
didnt touch anything else
trailored the car home

currently:
set timing back to zero
tried to start.....turns over doesnt fire but no longer makes screetching noise
noticed fuel pump is making a louder unusual noise than it used to.
checked spark, fuel, and air....getting all three

i really dont know what else it could be other than possibly damage to the head
im going to try to put my msd plugs back on tomm and new plugs. i dont know what else it could be. maybe all of that info will help you help me. thanks everyone

put the car back in time and then try checking the compression because if you were off 8 teeth and was trying to start the car its possible you bent a valve maybe??? so check the compression in all 4 cylinders e?? thats what i did when my timing jumped a tooth.

i think you put your spark plugs wrong on the "distributer". its actually a 1342 sequence.
