I installed a cloth GSR rear seat into my hatch and there is a small gap, i thought there was a thread on modding the seats to elliminate this?

 

I found that u can use a 4 door bottom with 2 dr top but has anyone modded a 22 door full rear to fit? it only like an inch gap at the bottom. I was windering if there is a way to redrill holes or something to sit it flush or maybe raise the bottom of the seat from underneath to make flush?

 

theres no way to get rid of that inch gaap on the sides if your using 2door tops and 2 door bottoms. unless of course u fill the gap with something. just go with the 4 door bottom and 2 door top

 

So you are saying with the 4 door bottom the seat will fill out on the sides and also will eliminate the inch gap between the tops and bottom?

 

Has anyone modified a 2 door seat to succesfully eliminate gaps?

 

You cant tell me noone has tryed to mod a 2dr rear

I put cloth integra seats in my coupe. I didn't notice that much of a gap.
I used both the civic rails and it bolted up fine.

 

what i did brad was lay some old towels under the bottom part so it would sit up against the back

 

oops i just realized your talkin about the rear seats...lol
