Default how much would it be usually for a bseries swap? ls, b16, ect....in a DX REX

I was going to buy a SI Hatch, but the guy never came through.......anyways, I'm pretty sure i'm going to get a DX CRX.......but the motor has a 186,000 miles on it, but runs pretty good......however, down the road, i'll probably put another motor in it so i'll be a happier camper lol.....

what all needs to be done to do a swap in a DX? and how much would it be for somebody to usually do one?

There are way to many factors in this question for anyone to answer.

MPFI, Mounts, Linkage, ECU plus what is that car to be used for autox, street, drag, road racing do you want NA or Turbo are you doing a stock build or modified build...etc.

There is some good reading that should answer your questions.

You will have to convert it to MPFI,
Which consists of adding a resistor box and some wiring
{and using the componants that come with the B16}

Plan on spending between $2000-$2500 if you do it yourself
or more if you are having someone do it for you..

Though your question is very vague and hard to answer effectively, I've heard figures of 2.5 to 3 grand after all is said and done, but that is a pretty loose number. It all just depends, as CRX Toad implied

well here we go I spent alot of money on my swap alot and it was annoying as hell but when it was done I was fin yes the stock clutch chirped 3rd I was like heck yes I love this ****.
ok first you got a dx your going to have to conver your harness to multi port injection
2 u are going to need a vtec subhaness Hasport has one for about 80.00 shipped thats what I paid for mine got here the next day or overnight,
3 your spindles on your car can not be used you would need a 90-93 acura integra spindle non abs I guess thats what I have on mine.

and then the normal stuff mounts I got hasport best mounts ever and I got the hasport shift linkage as well Im not to down with cut and weld your factory linkage Im just not into that.

and I guess this is the last thing as well
when u want to put a exhaust on well your d series flange wont bolt up so what we had to do was cut the flange flip it and reweld it and your good and thats about it. Good Luck.

If you are talking about the hubs,DX are the same as an Si and work fine

u are going to need a vtec subhaness Hasport has one for about 80.00 shipped thats what I paid for mine got here the next day or overnight,

Or you can make your own for less the the price of a Happy meal..

when u want to put a exhaust on well your d series flange wont bolt up so what we had to do was cut the flange flip it and reweld it and your good and thats about it. Good Luck.

You could have unbolted the catalytic convertor and rotated it and it would have bolted right up..

My swap costed 3900, I have a crx hf. Included b16a2(very f'n clean) hasport mounts/conversion, shift linkage, OBD-1, water pump, timing belt, just everything done. Could have been cheaper im sure, but they did a really good job.

Mine costed $2600 altogether for my B16 into a HF including mounts and linkage, he said he would do a DX for $150-200 more.
