Has anybody bought the ctr style gunmetal headlgihts from jdmcarboy.com? i was wondering cause i was thinking about gettting them. I wanted to know if they fog up and if they look legit.

 

i got a set from jdmcarboy. ill post pics up as soon as my image hosting site is back up.

 

so are they worth buying or do they look too imitation like? i wondered about those also

i think they are worth buying. the only way to distinguish between these and real ctrs is that sheild or whatever and the city light socket. the color is pretty much dead on.

 

i never bought ctr style headlights.

Just save up a little more and get the real deals, that way you have the peace of mind and can sleep sound at night.

i wouldnt buy. you would be alot happier by saving and buying authentic ones IMO.

hmm they looks pretty damn nice. only thing is the amber reflector but i think they're worth buying. i'll be picking some up for my ctr conversion project

Looks like we have CTR conversions on our EM1's

 

well being that real ones cost $450ish, and my friend has the JDM car boy ones, actually he got the whole 99-00 front end conversion for $600 with gunmetal CTR style lights, Type R grill, mugen style lip, then bumper, fenders, and hood. It deff fit good as hell, way better than we imagened it would, and yes the lights look real good. I'll take some pics tonight and post em for you.

There are those who arent stupid enough to spend 450 on lights just cause there jdm, lol. Especially when u can get replicas for alot cheaper.

i got them they look the same really ppl cant even tell but i got them just to have new head lights stock oem si headlight looked too wack and im getting sir everything now so it not like im keeping the 00 front but the lights are good and cheap!

Then your really not into the sport. Buying fake **** for cheap sounds great. If it makes you feel good to rock fake **** and try to play it off as real then go for it. Im simply stating they are fake and look like ***, anybody can tell they are fake with one quick look.

wow you classify people based on how much money they spend on their parts? true anyone who knows wussup can distinguish real from fake but not all of us have the money to blow $500 on some headlights. im a full time college student who pays for all my classes and only work part time. plus when my car gets jacked (and i know it will eventually-SD ) i could rest a little easier knowing i didnt pay an arm and a leg for some real deal rims and headlights.

 

I have real CTRs they ate beautiful.

stop talking out of your ***, i got my headlights and mirrors from them and i received everything within 5 days (i live in MA, and theyre located in CA)
