Why did the S2000 race with his top down? I'm sure the 17" SSRs didn't help him either.

Putting "faster cars" in their place.

I'd rather be street racing than humping someone's leg.

 

To us, that wasn't a street race since it was in front of the shop and the posted limit is 55. We are not stupid. S2k guy is OLDER than me, too....LOL.

That "race" wasn't even fair.
The S2K had to brake because of the car ahead on his lane and the "hatchcrap" picked up front anyway...
I know it was harmless fun.

 

Racing would imply that it was even close. Daniel gave him a HUGE jump on this one. The first time, there was about 2 car lengths going into 3rd. Just think if he had been running NAWWWWWSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Actually, no. The angle does make it difficult, but Daniel Toretto gave the s2k the jump. Otherwise, I would not have been able to keep them in the same field of view. It was over long before brakes were needed. And it was all just fun!

Nice, what was all done to each of the cars, sorry I havn't been following the Hatchcrap lately.

 

S2000 - Mugen header, intake, B&B exhaust, 18" SSR GT3 (boat anchors)
Hatchcrap - B16 with Toda goods, 98 Spec ITR Tranny, etc

 

hatchcrap has:

b16a2
toda pistons
milled head
crower stage 3 cams
crower valve springs and retainers
skunk2 intake manifold
ls tranny....

he wants to go turbo soon

Heres the dyno plot of the hatchcrap after we tuned the Crowers...

 

Did any of you guys hear about the so-called rumor that about 100 Crower cam sets (mostly 63403) missed the final hardening stage, and were shipped like that. A couple of months ago I believe, have a friend who busted an intake cam in 3 places, and this is what Brian relayed to them.

 

Wouldn't surprise me...this is all in jest, as well. We don't run the crowers...LOL. And, no, as much as Daniel would like it, that is not his plot.
