civic strut bar question
i know this is a pretty stupid question, but how well does the si strut bar work at stiffening the car? i am able to get a great deal on one, but am wondering if i should save for a neuspeed or password bar.

I would say it would be close to the same, the si bar just want be a blangy
haha. I am no expert though I have an ITR front sway bar on mine and I like it just fine.
I have always wondered though if there is a difference in performance with the OEM bars that mount to the holes in the shock tower area vs. the bars that bolt directly to the top of the shock mounting area. Anyone have any knowledge on that?

i like mine, there is a slight difference when its on compared to when its off
i modified mine to be a three point, that also made an improvement

yup, i agree. i'm sure it's functional, but i'm also sure you won't feel a differance with them installed or not. sway bars help a whole butt load more, if performance is what you're going after.

The difference you feel all depends on what is done to the rest of the suspension. a friend of mine (who has a lot of $ in his suspension) switched from the oem to neuspeed and it made a huge difference, but it was the last suspension piece he replaced.

he had neuspeed race springs, koni yellows, F/R strut bars, F/R tie bars, SRR lower control arms (with the metal bushings), F/R sway bars, H brace, beaks subframe kit, and polyurethane everywhere. I love driving his car, its on rails.
i have an OEM del sol VTEC strut bar (same as GSR or Si). i will say that it does help alot. keeps the front end stiffer. when im in turns i feel it hold and grip he road real well. a strut br is a strut bar to me. unless your paying for bling
