My clock and cd player always resets whenever I turn the engine off. I have to reprogram everything. It sucks. Anyways, I checked all the fuses, engine and under dash, the fuses are still good. I am out of ideas. Help!!!!

Is the clock using factory wiring, or did you go in and rewire it? Same with the cd player...stock wiring?

Everything is stock. The only thing I did was I bought an aftermarket harness for the new cd player that I hooked up. None of the factory wires were cut/spliced.

Do I switch the two power wires from the clock or radio? Or does it matter?

You're saying the clock does'nt hold memory? Odd.

The factory 12 volt CONSTANT wire is white and blue. Make sure that the memory/constant wire on your new radio (usually yellow) is hooked to this wire.

Yes both the clock and cd player doesnt hold memory. It's been like this even before I installed the aftermarket cd player.

the factory clock? wierd. The car starts fine?

Double check ALL radio fuses w/ a continuity test on a voltmeter. maybe one is burnt and u can't see it?

I had a problem a while back with a fuse.

The clock and radio would both work, but they wouldn't hold memory.

Turns out a fuse was burned out and I overlooked for about a month straight while trying to diagnose the problem

Yes its the factory clock and the car starts fine. I'll recheck all the fuses, but I doubt it because I've checked it 3 times already. I will also try with a voltmeter. Which fuse was it? Was it the one under the dash(drivers side) or under the hood (engine compartment)?

Pull each fuse out and inspect it. It should take no more than 2 minutes to check all of them with this method.

You'd be surprised as to what each fuse ties into. In alot of cases the interior light fuse (dome light), is tied into the radio memory fuse as well, etc...
