I have two dash lights (CEL & ABS) either burned out or removed (I have reason to believe this is the case). I don't have a Helms handy. What bulbs go back there?

take a bulb out and look at the number printed on it...
call honda...
check your local auto store...

hehe i had a sorta problem like this, when i took my guage cluster out, i took the blue "condom" off the bulbs for the guage faces (thought i didnt need them, turns out i did later on) so i had to go out looking for those bulbs (same sorta bulbs as the Cel & abs) i looked for them and this is what i came up with: if they are removed like u think, u need to go to the honda dealership and get new ones cus u need the mount for it. over at the dealship here, they charge me 11 bux per bulb (for the guage face bulbs, dont know if its different for the ABS & CEL bulbs) if u do have the mount (the grey twisty thingy that the bulbs are in, u can just go to radioshack and show them the bulb and they will match it up and u can just put the grey mount on it

AcidBurn...are you saying the bulbs for these lights are the same as the bulbs for the faces?

 

The bulb numbers are 194, and you will need to buy the clear ones.

And not one of those answered my question. Those are all about guage face (or unspecified bulbs). Are the face bulbs the same as the warning light bulbs?

 

Yes...they are...if you're referring to the ones that you twist out of the back of the cluster then, yes...they are...I just had my cluster out a few days ago.

You're making this very complicated. I haven't removed the cluster so I don't know if they twist out of the back. I'm specifically asking for the ABS and CEL lights. That's all.

 

They are the same...you can take the check engine light out and put it in for the SRS, vice versa. If you want, take your seat belt light bulb out and put it in your SRS. They are the same...194s.

GRACIAS!!! I know the warning lights are all the same as each other, but are you also saying these are the same bulbs as the guage faces? If not what's the number for those (just for future reference)?

 

Yes, they are the same...take you cluster out...you will see...

 

Are you 101% sure because I don't want to remove my guage cluster just to double check/reinstall/drive to parts store/remove cluster/insert new bulbs/reinstall.

 

i can tell u that i am 100% sure. i actually got my guage cluster out right now. give me a few mins and ill pull a couple bulbs to prove it, all the bulbs in the guage cluster are the same, the only difference is that the bulbs for the faces have a blue rubber 'condom' over them, the rest are just plain clear

 

ok, now excuse the blurriness of the pictures, it was taken with my cell phone. but it gets the idea across. from left to right (this is stock) the bulbs are: guage face (the blue one), SRS light, and E-Brake light. the blue face bulb looks a little taller but that is because of that blue rubber cover. now i will correct myself on what i said earlier, the bulb in the low-fuel warning light is bigger then the rest, but except for that, they are all the same...but with no further adue, here are the pics:

I finally got the answer I was looking for...and for future reference for anybody else, they are #24s.

 

#24? isnt that the part number that the dealership gives u?

I ordered 6 in amber for my cluster, fit perfect.
